Men and women from The Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence (DGDP) marked the Christmas season with DGDP’s traditional family Christmas party.
Over 400 individuals were in attendance at the Springfield Country Club for this festive occasion, including those served by DGDP as well as their families and caregivers.
Joe Holden, CBS3 Anchor, served as the master of ceremonies at the event.
“My heart is full when emceeing the Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence annual Christmas party,” said Holden. “I was honored to spend some time with these lovely families.”
The event included Christmas carols performed by the Saint Francis of Assisi School Choir (Delaware County), dancing, a seated luncheon, a distribution of gifts, and a special visit from Santa.
Supporters and benefactors of the program were also invited to participate. DGDP’s annual Christmas party is made possible through the generosity of donors and volunteers, both at the corporate and individual levels.
