Catholic Social Services has a long-standing friendship with the community of St. Ignatius Parish of Yardley, Pennsylvania. The St. Ignatius community has been a true source of support for Catholic Social Services in Bucks County since the inception of the Centro Católico de Fatima (Fatima Catholic Outreach Center) in 2014 in Bensalem, PA.
Recently, the Knights of Columbus donated funds to help run a six-week Summer Meals Program and free summer camp to ensure that needy kids receive a healthy meal when school is not in session. Additionally, members of the St. Ignatius Parish Social Action Committee recently helped with both donated materials and volunteer labor to convert an office in the Outreach Center into a boutique to provide clothing for individuals and families in need. Catholic Social Services is tremendously grateful to the St. Ignatius Parish Community and Knights of Columbus for their constant support and sharing of their time, talents, and treasure.
