Catholic Social Services’ Developmental Programs Division offers a continuum of services for men, women, and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities through the programs of The Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence and St. Edmond’s Home for Children.
The Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence are dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. They provide comprehensive programs and services that foster a vibrant environment filled with love, care, and acceptance. Multidisciplinary professional teams offer Day Programs, Special Trips, Respite Care, Life Sharing through Family Living, and Campus and Community-Based Living.

St. Edmond’s Home cares for medically fragile children with a diagnosis of severe or profound intellectual and physical disabilities. Staff provide medical support andtherapeutic interventions along with a range of activities and experiences for children at a 40-bed campus program as well as two community homes for young adults. St. Edmond’s Home strives to provide a happy and healthy childhood, maximizing each child’s potential and ensuring their needs are met in a loving environment. Multidisciplinary professional teams provide an array of enriching services and supports. Children also attend school in the community.
